The military in Latin America

To put the behaviour of Latin America’s military in context, it is useful to look at some indications of their size, budget, and staffing levels. According to the annual Global Fire Power (GFP) ranking for 2021, the top ten military forces in Latin America are, by order of importance, those from Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Cuba, and Bolivia.
