In brief: Inflation inches up in Bolivia

* Bolivia’s national statistics institute (INE) has published the latest figures for its consumer price index (IPC), showing that year-on-year inflation in December 2021 stood at 0.90%. In monthly terms, inflation in December was 0.16%. Annual inflation was at its highest level since August, but monthly inflation showed a slight deceleration compared to November, when it stood at 0.19%. The largest monthly price increases were in transport (+1.11%), clothing and shoes (+0.78%), recreation and culture (+0.49%), and furniture and domestic goods/services (+0.45%).
