MEXICO: US-Mexico tensions rise over killings of journalists

On 23 February, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador criticised comments made the same day by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken about the “high number” of journalists being killed in Mexico and accused the US government of “interventionism”.
