In brief: Bolivia’s YPFB expects increased income from natural gas sales

* Bolivia’s state-owned hydrocarbons company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) has announced that it expects its income from sales of natural gas to increase to US$2.96bn in 2022, up from US$2.40bn in 2021. Enzo Michel, YPFB’s vice president of administration, contracts and auditing, said that the improved forecast is due to the rising oil and natural gas prices on the global market, as well as increasing hydrocarbons extraction.
