PERU: Fujimori story reprised

Peru’s constitutional court (TC) ruled on 17 March that the 83-year-old former president Alberto Fujimori (1990-2000), currently serving a 25-year prison sentence for crimes against humanity, including counts of murder and corruption, should be released. This is the second attempt to release Fujimori and it is promising to be as divisive and controversial as the first.
