In brief: DR exports rise in 2021

* The Dominican Republic’s President Luis Abinader has said that the country’s exports totalled US$12.4bn in 2021, up 21% on the previous year. He made his comments while presenting the national 2020-2030 export promotion plan. He also said that free zone exports were up 22%, agriculture exports were up 7%, minerals by 8%, and industrial exports were up 26%.
