* Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has announced that the country’s exports totalled US$4.20bn in February, an increase of 43% on the same month in 2021. There was a 55.9% year-on-year increase in the value of exports of fuel and products from the extractive industries, which totalled US$2.04bn. Other categories that significantly contributed to the increased export revenue were agricultural products, food & drink (US$1.06bn; +43.8%), and manufacturing (US$848.6m; +29.8%). The US was the biggest export market, accounting for 26.6% of revenue, followed by Panama (15.3%), China (5.7%), Brazil (4.4%), Ecuador (4.2%), Turkey (3.7%), and India (3.4%).
