In brief: Brazil’s Embraer reports Q1 activity
* Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has announced that it delivered 14 aircraft in the first quarter of 2022 – six commercial aeroplanes and eight executive jets. This is a decrease from its delivery performance over the same period in 2021, when the company delivered 22 aircraft. Meanwhile, its order book grew 21.8% year-on-year in Q1 2022 to US$17.3bn. According to business daily Valor Econômico, analysts at financial services company Citi have deemed Embraer’s performance in the first three months of this year to be weak and disappointing.
