Gutiérrez’s ‘moderation’ could be winning tactic against Petro
Colombia’s presidential campaign took several major twists and turns this week as it approaches the finish line on 29 May. It is not clear-cut but overall they are more likely to tilt the balance in favour of Federico Gutiérrez, the presidential candidate of the right-wing Equipos por Colombia coalition, rather than his left-wing rival Gustavo Petro, the current frontrunner.
