EL SALVADOR: Human rights concerns mount over crackdown

On 23 May a local human rights NGO Cristosal reported that it had recorded nearly 700 complaints of human rights violations in El Salvador since the implementation in late March of a state of emergency, decreed by the government led by President Nayib Bukele.
