BRAZIL: Senate passes bill to cap tax on fuel
On 13 June, the Brazilian senate voted in favour of a bill which reduces the state-levied Imposto sobre a Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços (ICMS) tax on certain goods deemed to be essential, as part of efforts to reduce fuel prices.
