COLOMBIA: Petro reaches out to old rivals

On 23 June, Colombia’s leftist President-elect Gustavo Petro said that he is seeking a meeting with two right-wing foes – former president Álvaro Uribe (2002-2010) and his rival in the 19 June presidential run-off, Rodolfo Hernández – to build consensus before his government takes power on 7 August.
