Óscar Claros, the contracts manager at Bolivia’s state hydrocarbons company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), has said that the company is forecasting that exports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will total over US$100m by the end of 2022, more than double that registered in the first half of 2022. In an interview with
La Razón Radio, he said that LPG exports totalled US$47m in the first half of the year, 65% more than that registered in the same period in 2021. He said that Bolivia currently has 15 public and private clients in Brazil, Paraguay and Chile, who receive the country’s LPG exports.
