BRAZIL: Bolsonaro’s poll gains insufficient to stop Lula

On 28 July, a Datafolha opinion poll showed Brazil’s leftist former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (2003-2011) maintaining enough of a lead to win in a first round vote, while President Jair Bolsonaro showed some gains should the race go to a runoff.
