* Bolivia’s state-owned lithium company, Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB), has signed a cooperation agreement with the Argentine state energy company Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Tecnologías (Y-TEC). The two companies pledged to increase information exchange and work together on projects to industrialise lithium production. Bolivia’s hydrocarbons and energy minister, Franklin Molina, said that the agreement will facilitate “scientific and technological cooperation for the production of cathodic materials and lithium-ion cells and batteries”.
