EFE, the BCIE’s president,
Dante Mossi, said that the
“commemorative bond” was the
“most significant investment” the BCIE had made to celebrate the anniversary. According to Mossi, the bond will finance projects in renewable energy, electric mobility, and provide support for small- and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the agricultural sector in particular. Mossi also announced a US$10 million guarantee fund to finance small and medium-sized enterprises in Belize, Guatemala and Honduras. This comes as the BCIE celebrates its 30
th year of working with the Taiwanese government and the first anniversary of the inauguration of a BCIE office in Taiwan.
