In brief: Economic activity rises in Brazil

* Brazil’s central bank (BCB) has released the latest figures on economic activity, which increased by 0.69% in June compared to May in seasonally adjusted terms. In comparison with June 2021, economic activity was up 3.09%. For the rolling quarter ending in June, economic activity was up 0.57% compared with the previous quarter and up 2.96% year-on-year.
