In brief: Chile’s GDP growth continues to slow

* Chile’s central bank (BCCh) has released new figures which show that the country’s GDP was up 5.4% in Q2 2022 compared with Q2 2021, although economic activity in Q2 2022 did not vary from the previous quarter in seasonally-adjusted terms. This follows year-on-year growth of 7.4% in Q1 2022, 12.0% in the Q4 2021, 17.2% in Q3 2021, and 18.9% in Q2 2021.
