COLOMBIA: Petro outlines security priorities

“We will only go down in history if we construct peace,” Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro said on 20 August in his first official ceremony as commander-in-chief, at a military academy in Bogotá, to swear in the new military high command he appointed a week earlier.
