CHILE: Boric leads tributes to Allende on coup anniversary
On 11 September Chile’s President Gabriel Boric led commemorations for the 49th anniversary of the death of Salvador Allende (1970-1973) in a military coup, while thousands of people took to the streets of the capital to take part in a peaceful march which was interrupted by some violent incidents.
