In brief: Argentina’s primary fiscal deficit grows
* Argentina’s economy ministry has announced that the country posted a primary fiscal deficit of Ar$210.05bn (US$1.45bn) in August 2022, compared with Ar$124.84bn in the same month of 2021 and Ar$75.95bn in July. According to the economy ministry, this is in line with the year-end deficit target of 2.5% of GDP.
