CUBA: New ‘family code’ approved, authorising same-sex marriage
On 26 September Cuba’s Partido Comunista de Cuba (PCC) government led by President Miguel Díaz-Canel announced that in a popular referendum held the previous day, Cubans have approved a new ‘family code’ that would allow same-sex couples to marry.
