ARGENTINA | Budget approved by lower chamber. On 26 October Argentina’s chamber of deputies voted in favour of approving the 2023 draft budget presented by the government led by President Alberto Fernández. The approval represents a significant political boon for the Fernández administration as there was concern that the bill would once again fail to secure congressional approval, as happened last year.
