In brief: Industrial production up in Colombia

*Colombia’s national statistics department (Dane) has released the latest figures on industrial production which show that this increased 4.4% in September compared to the same month in 2021. The increase was driven predominantly by a 6.9% rise in industrial manufacturing, followed by a 1.5% increase in the provision of electricity and gas, and a 0.3% increase in the capture, treatment and distribution of water while mining & quarries posted a contraction of 1.9%.
