In brief: Mexico’s 2023 revenue budget published
*Mexico’s 2023 revenue budget (Ley de Ingresos), the income side of next year’s budget proposal, has been published by decree in the official gazette (DOF). This comes after the senate approved the draft revenue budget with 65 votes in favour, 44 against and two abstentions on 26 October. The budget foresees revenue of M$8.29trn (US$428bn) in 2023 and is based on projections that the economy will grow by 3% next year and the peso-dollar exchange rate will oscillate around M$20.6/US$1.
