EL SALVADOR: Protests over state of emergency

On 16 November protests took place in El Salvador’s capital, staged by Movimiento de Víctimas del Régimen (Movir), a group of relatives of those detained under the state of emergency, invoked in March by the Nuevas (NI) government led by President Nayib Bukele in response to gang violence.
