* An accident at Lima’s Jorge Chávez international airport has thrown air traffic in Peru into chaos, with the airport forced to close from 18-20 November after a LATAM plane struck a fire engine during take-off before bursting into flames. The accident, which killed two firefighters, took place while the fire engine was involved in a pre-arranged emergency drill, according to the airport operator, Lima Airport Partners.
