In brief: Peru’s GDP grows in Q3

* Peru’s national statistics institute (Inei) has announced that the country’s GDP grew by 1.7% in Q3 2022 compared to the previous quarter. This, Inei stated, was primarily due to a 3.0% increase in private consumption and a 1.9% increase in fixed gross investment. Inei also stated that exports increased by 1.8% in Q3, while imports increased by 9.0%.
