BRAZIL: Bolsonaro’s party fined over electoral challenge
On 23 November, the president of Brazil’s top electoral court (TSE), Alexandre de Moraes, fined President Jair Bolsonaro’s party, Partido Liberal (PL) R$22.9m (US$4.3m) for “bad faith” litigation over a complaint that it filed disputing the result of the 30 October presidential run-off election.
