PARAGUAY: Gov’t scores a win against armed insurgency

A police operation in late October in Paraguay resulted in the death of several members of the Ejército del Pueblo Paraguayo (EPP) guerrilla group, including leading EPP figures, in what was considered a win for the government led by President Mario Abdo Benítez.
