Mexico and the US celebrated 200 years of diplomatic relations on 12 December. To celebrate the occasion, US Special Presidential Advisor for the Americas Christopher Dodd visited Mexico where he signed a bicentennial friendship declaration with Mexico’s foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, and delivered a letter from US President Joe Biden to Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
