In brief: Paraguay posts 2022 trade deficit

*Paraguay’s central bank (BCP) has released new figures which show that the country’s trade deficit in 2022 totalled US$1.29bn. According to the BCP, exports totalled US$13.88bn in 2022, 1.5% less than the US$14.09bn recorded in 2021, while imports totalled US$15.19bn, an increase of 16.1% compared to the previous year.
