In brief: National production up in Peru

* Peru’s national statistics institute (Inei) has published the latest economic growth figures, showing that national production increased by 1.68% in November 2022 compared to the same month in 2021. Inei registered yearly increased activity in sectors including mining and hydrocarbons (+5.06%), electricity, gas and water (+5.65%), construction (+6.83%), agriculture (+1.25%), commerce (+2.99%), and transport, storage and delivery services (+7.51%). Decreased activity was registered in sectors including fishing (-48.52%), manufacturing (-2.83%), telecommunications (-5.71%), and finance and insurance (-9.62%).
