In brief: Yearly agricultural exports up in Argentina

* Argentina’s ministry of agriculture, livestock and fisheries has released new figures showing that agricultural exports totalled US$49.58bn in 2022, an 8.5% increase on the previous year. According to the ministry, the greatest percentage increases were registered in meat & dairy products (US$5.50bn, up 20.7%); wheat (US$4.72bn, up 35.4%); and sunflower oil, barley and sorghum (US$3.55bn, up 41.4%). Meanwhile, soya exports brought in US$22.27bn, a 2.5% increase on the previous year.
