In brief: Argentina raises minimum wage

*Argentina’s labour ministry has announced new rises in minimum wage, which will increase by 15.6% to Ar$80,342 (US$392) a month in April, by 6% to Ar$84,512 in May and by 5% to Ar$87,987 in June. The labour ministry’s minimum wage committee will meet again on 15 July for a review. Annual inflation in Argentina hit 102.5% in February, the highest rate in over three decades.
