BRAZIL: Blow for Lula as security chief quits

On 19 April, the head of Brazil’s cabinet for institutional security (GSI), Marco Edson Gonçalves Dias, resigned after footage emerged of his presence in the presidential palace on 8 January, in which he was seen wandering around and even speaking with rioters as the building was attacked.
