MEXICO: Dispute with Vulcan Materials sours US trade relations

Bilateral trade relations with the US came under stress during March. This was due to a dispute between the government and Vulcan Materials, an Alabama-based aggregates company whose operations in Quintana Roo state were shut down by the government in May 2022 on claims the company lacked the permits to quarry the materials and send them to the US.
