Boric suffers serious setback as far right sweeps elections

It is no exaggeration to say that the outcome of the elections held in Chile on 7 May could not have been any worse for President Gabriel Boric. Boric had revived the faltering process to rewrite the constitution, by means of an elected body, after painstaking negotiations with the traditional right.
