Nearshoring elsewhere in Latin America

While nearshoring will be a significant trend in Mexico and Brazil it will also be present to varying degrees in the rest of the region. It is worth noting that although some countries will be at the lower end of the ranking in terms potential gross nearshoring investment value, they are higher up when investment is expressed as a proportion of their GDP. In fact, the biggest potential beneficiaries from nearshoring relative to GDP include Guyana (benefits equivalent to 7.3% of GDP), Honduras (5.3%), Nicaragua (4.5%), and Mexico (3.3%).
