BRAZIL: Lula hails UN confirmation that Brazil to host COP30
On 26 May Brazil’s government led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva announced that the United Nations (UN) had confirmed that Belém, the capital of Brazil’s northern state of Pará, will host the UN climate change conference (COP30) in 2025.
