* Argentina’s national statistics institute (Indec) has released the latest consumer price index for June, which showed that inflation has continued to slow for the second month in a row, although annual inflation remains extremely high. Monthly inflation in June was 6.0%, down from 7.8% in May, and 8.4% in April. However, annual inflation rose to 115.6%, up from 114.2% in May. Indec stated that the steepest monthly price increases were for communication (+10.5%), followed by healthcare (+8.6%) and housing, water, electricity, gas & other fuels (+8.1%).
