Still depending on the US

The Mexican economy is far from being in the robust, domestic-demand- driven health that South American economies enjoy. In Mexico, domestic demand is still feeble. So the economy is peculiarly vulnerable to a double dip in the US, to which exports have been rising at what appears to be an unsustainable and unhealthy rate.
