ARGENTINA: Milei picks Petri for defence portfolio
On 4 December Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei confirmed that the defence minister in his incoming government would be Luis Petri, the running mate of Patricia Bullrich, the future security minister who finished third in the first round of the presidential election for the right-of-centre opposition coalition Juntos por el Cambio (JxC).
