COLOMBIA: Health reform clears lower chamber

A whole ten months after it was first unveiled, the Colombian government’s controversial health reform bill cleared the lower chamber of congress on 5 December. Approval by the senate in the new year would set President Gustavo Petro’s sweeping reform agenda back in motion after months of gridlock.
