MEXICO | Remittances on track for record. Mexico’s central bank (Banxico) reported on 30 November that in the first 10 months of this year, Mexico received a total of US$52.89bn in remittances, surpassing the amount received during the same period in 2022 by 9.4% (over US$4.5bn). In October alone, Mexico received US$5.8bn, an 8.4% year-on-year increase but a 1.9% decline from the previous month. In 2022, Mexico received a record US$58.5bn in remittances.
