NICARAGUA/CIA handbook

The New York-based Grove Press has published a bilingual reprint of The Freedom Fighter's Manual, the CIA handbook on contra sabotage.


The 16-page, comic-book guide encourages Nicaraguans to report late to work, pour sand into engines, prepare and hurl molitov cocktails and engage in diverse forms of sabotage. The manual describes itself as a 'practical guide to liberate Nicaragua from oppression and misery by paralysing the military-industrial complex of the traitorous Marxist state without having to use special tools and with minimal risk for the combatant'.
