MEXICO | Pensions. On 17 April, the lower chamber went to vote on a bill that would create a new fund as part of President López Obradors pension reform, before opposition legislators noted the wrong version of the bill had been submitted – an error attributed to the haste to get the bill through. The vote was postponed until 22 April, when it was passed by 252 votes in favour to 212 against.
