COLOMBIA: Petro signs off on diminished 2025 budget
On 19 December Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro announced that he had promulgated his government’s 2025 budget, which was rejected by congress in September, by decree – albeit for Col$12trn (US$2.7bn) less than he had originally planned after congress rejected a tax reform bill on 11 December.
