In brief: Dominican Republic receives record tourists in Q1
*The Dominican Republic’s tourism minister, David Collado, has announced that the country received a record 3.35m tourists in the first quarter of 2025 – up by 4% on the same period in 2024. Of those, 2.32m arrived by air, down by 0.6% year-on-year, while 1.03m arrived by cruise ship, up 15% on the same period of the previous year.
