The field for Chile’s presidential elections in November is growing ever larger. Senator and Partido Socialista (PS) president Paulina Vodanovic became the latest candidate to launch her presidential bid on 12 April. In the days since, Vodanovic has worked to distance herself from the government of President Gabriel Boric, despite the PS forming part of the ruling left-wing alliance.
